Confined Space Entry (1 Day)

Course Duration: 1 day (8 hours)
Course Fee: $235.00 per person
Prerequisites: Nil

This course is ideal for anyone required to enter and work in confined spaces as part of their job. It is especially relevant for workers in industries such as:

  • Construction and civil works
  • Utilities and infrastructure (water, electricity, gas)
  • Mining and quarrying
  • Manufacturing and processing
  • Transport and logistics
  • Maintenance and facilities management

It’s suitable for new entrants needing confined space training for the first time, as well as experienced workers needing to refresh their knowledge and demonstrate current competency. No prior experience is required.

On successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised unit:

  • RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
  • RIIRIS201E Conduct local risk control
  • MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
  • MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis

Confined Space Standby (2 Days)

Course Duration: 2 days (16 hours)
Course Fee: $480 per person
Prerequisites:

  • MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis must becompleted prior to sitting
  • MSMPER300 Issue work permit

This course is designed for workers who are not only required to enter and work in confined spaces, but also have responsibilities for issuing permits and monitoring work carried out under those permits. It’s ideal for:

  • Supervisors or team leaders overseeing confined space entry
  • Safety officers or WHS representatives
  • Permit issuers and site coordinators
  • Workers required to carry out gas testing and atmospheric monitoring
  • Experienced workers looking to upskill into supervisory or compliance roles

It’s designed for those who need a more comprehensive understanding of confined space entry, monitoring, and permit-to-work systems.

On successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised unit:

  • RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
  • RIIRIS201E Conduct local risk control
  • MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
  • MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis
  • MSMPER300 Issue work permits
  • MSMPER202 Observe permit work
  • MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres

Work Safely at Heights

Course Duration: 1 day (8 hours)
Course Fee: $280.00 per person
Prerequisites: Nil

This course is ideal for anyone who is required to work at height as part of their job. It’s especially relevant for workers in:

  • Construction and roofing
  • Telecommunications and utilities
  • Mining and quarrying
  • Warehousing and logistics
  • Maintenance and facility services
  • Electrical and mechanical trades

It’s suitable for both new entrants needing working at heights training for the first time, and experienced workers needing to refresh their knowledge or meet compliance requirements. No prior experience is required.

On successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised unit:

  • RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights

Operate Breathing Apparatus

Course Duration: 1 day (8 hours)
Course Fee: $275.00 per person
Prerequisites: Nil

This course is ideal for workers who may be required to use self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) or similar equipment as part of their role in hazardous or low-oxygen environments. It’s especially relevant for those working in:

  • Emergency response and fire services
  • Confined space operations
  • Mining and quarrying
  • Oil, gas, and petrochemical industries
  • Water and wastewater treatment
  • Hazardous substance handling and storage

It’s suitable for workers involved in tasks where respiratory protection is essential and for those seeking to meet compliance and safety requirements.

On successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised unit:

  • MSMWHS216 – Operate breathing apparatus
