Standard 11 comprises a compulsory collection of six nationally accredited competency units necessary for individuals intending to engage in coal mine work in Queensland.

The General Coal Induction program caters to both briefly experienced contractors and inexperienced individuals aspiring to join the mining sector. Additionally, it accommodates personnel who may be required to transition across various work sites and environments.

Who is it for?

  • Standard 11 course is suited to anyone who is new to the Coal Mining industry or who is training to start a new career in mining.
  •  
  • This course is designed for those without prior experience in the resource industry, specifically in mining (including related refineries), oil & gas, and quarries.



How is the course delivered?

This nationally recognised qualification will be delivered by a qualified Trainer and Assessor in a classroom setting.

Programmed delivers the qualification via a flexible learning, which includes online learning and assessment components which learners can complete in their own pace and time.

Classroom learning includes theory and practical components, incorporating lectures, group activities, and role play scenarios to apply, practice and master the target knowledge and skills included in the course.
